The purpose of saving these recordings is to create a record that can be referenced whenever patterns are noticed in daily speech. It's typically impossible to replay what someone's said in a casual conversation, however, if you've recorded their voice, you may be able to go back and notice the pattern in the recording. The speech that's desired is natural, conversational speech, as opposed to the voice of someone giving a presentation, or reading a book. However, I've provided a few samples below that are used in accent documentation, or that cover interesting types of speech, as recordings of these are still useful. If you'd like to submit a recording, you can send it to me at bauergrpi@gmail.com, or anywhere else you can contact me. Nonenglish recordings are valuable, as long as a transcription/summary can be provided.
